Meet at Swanage Amphitheatre in the Prince Albert Park , there are two large faux Greek or Roman columns, below Broad Road Car Park. Park in Broad Road Car Park (8 pounds for day), or head up Seymer Road where you will find lots of free on street parking

Heading east on the Priests Way to look at how limestone has been formed and influences the area, then down to the coast and the limestone ridge to return to Swanage where we will tour the town learning how limestone influenced the development of Swanage

General Notes
This is a short walk with lots of stops to discuss the geology and history of the area. It is also advertised to the LDWA History Group. The walk is the day before the Dorset Doddle to provide a gentle warm up for those attempting the Doddle. Note later start time of 10.00
