My walk on the 22 March is going to start and finish at St Mary's Church, on Church Road, Thornton In Craven. BD23 3TS. SD903-494. Start time 10.00. Distance 15 miles. The walk is lightly undulating in places as it follows sections of the Pennine Way across rolling fields. There are also long flat sections along one of the most attractive parts of The Leeds - Liverpool canal. Most of the paths and lanes are good underfoot but some sections of the Pennine Way can be a little boggy at this time of year. There is free parking directly outside the church. But no toilet facilities
