Start Roddlesworth Information Centre, Tockholes Road, Tockholes, BB3 0PA. SD 665 214. There is plenty of free parking in the rear public car park adjacent to the Information Centre or in the middle of the bus turn round opposite. The route will take us onto and across Darwen Moor to Lords Hall. From there we head towards Cadshaw calling off at the memorial site for the Polish pilot who crashed on the moor just after WW2. The route then crosses the A666 at Cadshaw and takes in a loop of Entwistle Reservoir where we stop for lunch. We then head back across Turton Moor and cross the Belmont Road to Great Hill, where we will stop for further refreshments. We then head down in a circular route, across Wheelton Moor and Withnell Moor and back through Roddlesworth Woods to the start. Quite a hilly route but nothing too strenuous. No need to book, just turn up
