This is a walk of 2 loops. One loop of 11 miles will visit the tops of Scout Moor bagging 3 trig points. On a good day there are extensive views (and plenty of windmills). The other loop of 9 miles visits the formerly industrialised valleys of Cheesden, Ashworth and briefly the Roch..
The walk includes c3200 ft ascent and may be boggy in places. Time for a pub visit at the end only!!
Weather permitting, the hills in the morning and the valleys in the afternoon but subject to conditions on the day.
Expected finish 4pm - 4.30pm
