General Notes
The Ulfkil Stride was for many years the West Yorkshire Group's premier challenge event over the fells of upper Wharfedale and with all that is going on in the world at the moment, West Yorkshire LDWA Group have resurrected this challenge as an anytime, which is not to be mistaken for the Ulfkil Stride Open Challenge. Keeping to the government's COVID-19 guidelines, entrants can participate at any time they choose between 23 April 2021 and 23 July 2021. The event is entirely unsupported, so there are no refreshments provided and no marshals en route. When choosing the date to take on the challenge, you are reminded to take adequate layers, due to the nature of its location. Runners are welcome, but please remember this is not a race.
