Walk Details:

Event Details Updated
The Shipton Star will take place on Wednesday 12th August. Please follow the link to the 2020 Shipton Star information page under the walks tab at the top of the page. Start from 08.00 at the Hall in Shipton Bellinger Village Centre, Parkhouse Road, Shipton Bellinger, near Tidworth, SP9 7TF. The entry fee is two pounds fifty pence for the event whatever distance you do. There is no provision for pre-entry. A (solitary) toilet will be available (queues likely), but NO REFRESHMENTS. Please bring all you need in the way of food and drink (water will be available). Seats and tables in the hall will not be available so you will need to have breaks in your vehicle. The village shop just up the road may be open, but it could be unwise to rely on it entirely as we don't know whether the shop is operating or how well it is likely to be stocked. You will also need to have some form of FACE-COVERING available, though probably not whilst walking provided the usual two-metre distancing rule is maintained. Routes will be waymarked and there will be written instructions for at least one-way around each route. Both routes have a five kilometre option
