Figure of eight, with 650m of ascent, taking in Halford Wood, Lower Dinchope, Flounder's Folly, River Onny, Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, Whettleton, Norton Camp, (views, weather permitting, of Clee Hills, including the highest summit, Abdon Burf), Norton village, Norton Camp Woods and River Onny, before returning to the event centre for the second and final time
