THE
SMUGGLER'S TROD
CHALLENGE WALK
The Walk has taken place each August Bank Holiday Saturday for over the past 30 years
It starts at Fylingdales Village Hall, Robin Hoods Bay and the route covers moorland & pasture footpaths, mainly coastal scenery, with modest undulations, there are two routes, one 25 miles and a shorter version of 16 miles
There are manned and self clip checkpoints along the route with many helpers dressed as pirates, wenches etc.
