Hi everyone,
Once again, things appear to be relatively quiet at the moment. Not just within the group. My local Royal Mail delivery office is so short staffed, my Strider(s) still haven't arrived. I hope you're enjoying reading yours already!
The highlight of last month was our walk to remember Tim James on 20th July. 30 members, past and present, and 4 dogs (not sure about their current membership statuses) joined Carol Holmes at the Knap Hill car park for a leisurely 11-mile walk in and above the Pewsey Vale. It was a wonderful seeing so many familiar faces, including one I haven't seen since my first LDWA walk in 2012! I wonder if it was something I said! Carol fed us facts and anecdotes throughout the walk. My particular favourite was that Tim's family didn't know what the letters LDWA stood for!

Wiltshire LDWA Annual General Meeting & Xmas Meal
The Wiltshire LDWA committee has yet to agree a date for this year's AGM, however, it would be appreciated if members could offer ideas for suitable venues that can accommodate around 30+ members on first Sunday in December. Thank you in advance.
The End Point Challenge - Raising Money for the British Heart Foundation
You may be aware that David Morgan and Alan Warrington are currently walking from Lands End to Ness Point. They are now well on their way, having recently passed through Wiltshire. I hope some of our members managed to catch up with them at some point. If not you can still support them via their Alan and David's "End Point Walk" Just Giving page. They are 96% of their way to reaching the target of £3,500. Congratulations and good luck to you both from your friends in Wiltshire.
