Travel to and from Wales

The following regarding travelling to and from Wales has been posted on the LDWA website.

On 07.12.20 the NEC met to discuss the latest changes to regulations relating to Wales. With immediate effect, members who live in English Tiers 1 and 2 areas can travel to Wales in order to attend Local Group walks, Challenge Events and Anytime Challenge Events. Conversely, members who live in Wales can travel to Tiers 1 and 2 areas in England to attend Local Group walks, Challenge Events and Anytime Challenge Events.

The situation with regards to Tier 3 areas in England has been communicated clearly in Wales. Consequently, members who live in Tier 3 areas in England cannot enter Wales in order to attend any form of LDWA activity and members who live in Wales cannot travel to a Tier 3 area in England.

Thank you for your understanding as we continue to work hard to understand and communicate the impact the regulations in each home nation are having on LDWA activities.
