CHORLEY

                                                             Tuesday Walk, October 15th

13 people turned up at St Peter’s club, Chorley for this walk. The  weather was bright  and quite warm for October and before long jackets and tops were off.

The walk took us past Tower Lodge, down through Brinscall and right past the house of a lady, Carol, who was new to the group and continued up past the  ‘murder house’ and onto the moor where we had lunch.

The afternoon saw us walking to White Coppice and over Healey Nab and descending on a very pleasant path before turning right and heading back to the start.

Despite having several catch-up stops we were back at 2.25pm after doing 10.2 miles at a nice, sociable speed which everyone seemed to enjoy.

Thank you Doreenfor an excellent walk.
