DUNSOP  BRIDGE   6  NOVEMBER

            Eight hardy souls met at Dunsop Bridge in the pouring rain and made their way over Hodder bank Fell to Giddy Bridge, and over the flanks of Easington Fell to Slaidburn. 

                                             The route then took us onto the Hornby Rd. and upto Dunsop Head. We returned along the ridge

                                                                   past the crashed aircraft site, through Beatrix and back to the start. 

                                                                                           The rain hardly stopped all day with thick mist on the tops.
