(10 miles. Start 10am. Meet at the car park at Ball Grove Park next to the cafe in Colne. No charge. It is just off the A6068 – Keighley Road. Postcode BB8 7HZ, SD 909 404. Lad Low is the sixth highest point in Lancashire and gives great views in all directions. It is a hard but relatively short climb and all paces will be catered for. On the way we will visit one of the prettiest villages in Lancashire, Wycoller, and the “Atom”. Our return will visit Trawden, which is apparently the best place to live in Lancashire?! No need to book, just turn up.)
