Also, dependant on the number of walkers, we may need to have 2 breaks, a short drinks break early in the walk followed by a late(ish) lunch stop, so bring a handy snack if you’re likely to need one.

Start 10.00. Parking at Warton Quarry car park. Nearest postcode LA5 9RY SD492724. What3words boats.likening.trickling.
The walk ascends Warton Crag then crosses the valley and heads toward Silverdale Green, returning via Leighton Moss and Cringlebarrow. A mixture of tracks, paths and minor roads with a steep ascent at the start.)
