Good afternoon everyone,

This email is mainly to let you know that the minutes of the February committee meeting are now available - just let me know and I will forward a copy to you.

The end of lockdown is hopefully in sight and I'm looking forward to seeing you all again.  Vera will be glad to be saved from my navigation but she can't hold me responsible for the weather.  I recommend Saturday walks as it does seem that lately Wednesday weather up here has been particularly bad!  We have both been vaccinated if anyone would like join our group at an appropriate time.

There are rumours that various challenge events may happen from the summer onwards, including our own F2D.  In the meantime, Spring in Lakeland 50 has gone "anytime" - 3 loops radiating out from Staveley as the base. 

I know of several people with individual plans for walking 50/100 miles over the 100 weekend.  Please let me know if you are interested in joining up with others and I will try to matchmake.

Anyway, If any of you have delusions of grandeur or just lots of free time, please think about standing for the role of secretary when we eventually hold our AGM.  I'm committed to carrying on till that point but I think my new role as coordinator of the provision of beans on toast on 100 events will be quite time consuming and I'm hoping that, as always has been the case, walking with the Irregulars will provide light relief.
