I am organising a trip to walk the The Two Moors Way during the last week in April 2021.
If you havn't heard of it, The Two Moors Way is a national trail of incredible variety, inspiration and quite simply magnificent beauty for any walker. A perfect weeks walk on a route that links the only two National Parks in Southern England with unspoiled rural backwaters and a fascinating pilgrimage running from the South coast to the North coast.
I have been in touch with a company called Encounter Walking and asked them to price up a walking holiday for a party of 10. Please see attached their detailed itinerary of the walking, accommodation, terms & conditions etc.
The price per person is £595. This differs from that quoted as I have deducted the cost of maps & publications, assuming that whoever goes will bring their own.
The price includes; 7 nights B&B (Bed and Breakfast) accommodation in rooms as described in the itinerary, 6 days walking on the Two Moors Way, Daily luggage transfers between accommodations - allowance of 1 item per walker up to 20kg.
We shall be walking at the back end of the Low Season/start of the High Season. As we have seen over the last couple of years, the weather around that time has been glorious and a group of 10 has brought the price down.
