Hi all, message from Vera regarding Wednesdays walk, Walk with the Romans.
The lunch stop on Wednesday the 19th of January is at the Tea Cottage at Bolton Abbey near the Devonshire Arms. They serve bottled beers and other alcoholic beverages. It also has a sheltered outside dining area. The walk is approximately 17 miles and due to the reduced daylight hours Addingham and Appletreewick are not possible. We need to meet in Sandylands Sports Centre down Engine Shed Lane that also hosts Skipton Rugby Club. The sign for Sandylands has been tampered with and now points in a different direction but the Rugby Club sign is correctly positioned. Dogs need to be kept on a lead as appropriate
