As well as our own Oxon 20/32/40 (https://www.sientries.co.uk/event.php?elid=Y&event_id=7844),which now has 54 entries, the groups around us now have their own anytime challenges that we'd like to bring to your attention. The following updates anything in Strider and indeed there are some events that have appeared since Strider was published.

BBN have an ANYTIME KANTER (map reading event)  open until 31 May from Pitstone (near Ivinghoe Beacon in the northern Chilterns) https://www.sientries.co.uk/event.php?elid=Y&event_id=7816 , They are also opening PICK AND MIX as an anytime challenge from Great Missenden from 24 May. See their webpage for more details.

HEART OF ENGLAND are offering the following :  A week of social walks, mostly following the route of the EBB100 (with a few detours to places of interest which we couldn't quite fit on the event route). Each day’s distance will be limited to around 13-15 miles, as we’ll be stopping regularly to appreciate the historic bits. Each day’s walk will start and end at a station for ease of access; we recommend that, rather than moving on each day, you stay in Birmingham for the duration of the trip and take the train to the start of each walk. There is no obligation to sign up for the whole week: members living close enough are welcome to join individual day(s) as they wish. Please email 2022hundred@ldwa,org.uk  if you are interested in joining any or all of the walks.

If anyone is interested in forming a small group of TV members to do either the Pewsey or Wessex XXX walks, please reply to this email with an indication as to when you would like to do the walk.
