We are approaching the time when, in a normal year, we would have been holding our Christmas lunch. Indeed, before the pandemic we had booked a hall for it, but cancelled the booking when it became clear that it was unlikely to be permissible.
So much has had to be cancelled this year and we can only hope that by next Christmas we may be back to something like normal. With the month's lockdown coming to an end we should, at least, be able to restart limited walks, as we were doing up until the end of October. My thanks to those who have been leading those, and Graham will welcome further volunteers.
I hope you have all been managing to keep fit and active during this unprecedented period of restrictions. On behalf of the group committee I send best wishes to you and your families for the festive season and for, let us hope, a happier New Year.
