This 24 mile route with 3900 feet of ascent is a fantastic foray into the Dark Peak and the South Pennine Moors. A variety of terrain will be encountered from wild moorland to well graded footpaths and bridleways. Hopefully you will enjoy the stunning views the area has to offer.

The event is open to all walkers and runners who are competent and suitably equipped at taking part in long distance events during the Winter months.  A route description & walked gpx file of the event route will be emailed to entrants from 07 Feb. The event headquarters and start will be Dovestone Sailing Club, Greenfield (via Bank Lane ,off A635 Holmfirth Road) with adjoining Pay & Display parking (currently £4.00): please car share if possible.

Registration from 07:00 until 0750. All to start at 0800 & finish by 1730 - 9 hours 30 minutes limit.

The event will be fully supported with drinks / toast before the start, food and drink at four checkpoints plus a hot meal at the finish, subject to any Covid restrictions. An e-certificate will be emailed to all finishers .

The entry fee is £12 LDWA members and £20 non members . Sorry, NO DOGS on this event. Entry limit 150.
