Thanks to all who turned out, special apology to those who made it to Knutsford , but due to a trespasser on Stockport Viaduct several of our party were unable to get there. Those at Manchester made arrangements to walk home, and Lynn and I waked with Norman and Ian to Littleborough,  Near to Smithy Bridge we engaged in conversation  with a local who was interested in where we were walking and how far. He then informed us that he had attempted to walk from Littleborough to the Summit Inn but failed as he'd run out of cans. On getting back to Manchester mid afternoon the trespasser was still on the viaduct. To make matters worse the local trains weren't running due to broken down train on the line, bus pass out, now home and the trespasser is still on the viaduct.
