2016 08 25 Chasing the Summer Goose

In January 2015 we waded through snow drifts on a similar route. This time, five of us were wading through wet foliage as we squelched our way round on a spectacularly damp midsummer day! Lunch was taken at Raistrick Greave which seemed more wuthering than wuthering heights. We had to imagine the view of the golden towers of Burnley from Hoof Stones Height. Everybody seemed in good spirits,  though, when we ended the excursion with a drink at the Fox and Goose.
