Walking in Yorkshire can be hazardous.  On the recce I was attacked by a farm dog and still have the scar to prove it.  On the walk proper and before reaching the culprit farm and dog I advised walkers to arm themselves with stones, they were needed as the dog came at us again.  Later in the day a bull protecting his ladies would have liked to do us some harm but could not reach us fortunately.  We completed our walk safely having covered 20.6 miles.
