The 35th Kilburn Kanter

Saturday 2nd November 2024

A 24 mile Challenge Walk with 3,5000ft of ascent in the Hambleton Hills

TIME ALLOWED: 10 HOURS

Registration from 6:30am at Kilburn Village Institute GR  SE 514 795

Mass Walkers start at 8:00am     Mass Runners start at 7:50am

Entry Fee:  LDWA: £12         Non LDWA: £18

Online entries only from 1st June at SiEntries & No entries on the day

From Kilburn Village Hall to Scotch Corner then onto Cold Kirby, Tylas Farm, Hawnby, High Paradise, Boltby, Gormire Lake, the White Horse and back to Kilburn.

Entrants must follow the route and visit all checkpoints before closing time. Anyone retiring must do so at a checkpoint and the Body Wagon bill bring you back to event HQ. LDWA marshals are authorised retire anyone failing to comply with the event rules or who in their opinion is unfit to continue.

No dogs please on the event.

Entry fee includes Tea & Toast at the start, refreshments en-route, event badge & cert.

Refunds subject to a £2 admin fee. - No refund of entry after 1st October 2023 & No roll over to next year.

 

Kit requirements are as follows:

Map, Compass, Waterproofs, Fleece, Whistle, Torch, First Aid Kit and MUG  (no disposable cups at checkpoints).

Please take all your rubbish home to be disposed of.
