September 2021 Update

Please note, some individual's contact details have been removed, but please visit the future walks page.

Dear all

August saw the return of Poppyline Marathon, our summer BBQ and more social walks –  a welcome move back to normality. A big thank you to all our walk leaders who have offered and led walks so far, but there are still plenty of dates available for more walks, both at the weekend or midweek. Please get in touch with Jane if you would like to lead a walk or discuss any ideas you have for future walks. Our walks are generally 17-21 miles and walked at a fairly brisk pace of 3 mph.

Following the AGM at the end of June, we held our first meeting of the new committee. Julian has stepped down as Chair to allow more time for his exciting NEC role as Communications and Publicity Officer and Simon Colchester has taken on the role of Chair. Peter Edwards also stepped down after many years of valued service to the club, but is still helping us with event organisation. New committee members are Hayley Calver, Nicolas Lynch-Aird and Susanna Smart.
