Welcome to what is probably going to be a very short monthly update as my computer has broken down I am therefore writing this on my phone!

Summer is always a busy period for everyone however we have had a nice selection of walks on the schedule for those that are still around.

It has been lovely to see on WhatsApp the adventures some of you are getting up to. David and Roy have been lucky enough to have been allowed to disappear for a month to take on the South West Coast path. I was very impressed that they roughed it in tents…I bet they both stink tho!!

The end of May also brought about the annual 100. Congratulations to our regular members Hillary Magnall, Jon Inett (1st attempt for Jon and he finished !), Simon Hodgin, Clare Bass, David Edwards, Paul Henderson and Neil Carter who all completed it in amazing times. 

A special thank you goes out to our team of marshals Chelle, Katie, Malcolm, Michael, Yvonne, Roger and Jayne for all their hard work manning the checkpoint for almost 24 hours. Possibly a harder job than walking it!

Finally we ended June with Simon Colchester’s memorial walk. As you would expect this was very well attended as we all miss him terribly. It was a lovely but very hot day finished off with the most amazing cakes baked by Simon's wife Diane.

N & S Summer BBQ Walk  18ml. 9:00 Craven farm Brampton Beccles NR34 8EG.
