Starting at the free parking off the horse roundabout, entry to the July course, Newmarket. Postcode: CB8 0TQ
We head east on the Devils Dyke & then pass through Wooditton, the Icknield Way & Upend to arrive at our lunch break at the Lidgate Star (the publican is a LDWA member & very brave former walker).
After lunch we head home via Kirtling & Ditton Green to pick up the Dyke again which leads us to the finish
General Notes
We shall be spending the lunch stop at the Lidgate Star pub. There will be a food service (light lunches, bacon rolls, charcuterie boards, etc) available to purchase, plus a friendly landlord (he promised). Those wishing to bring their own packed lunch will have the beer garden available (just not loads of seating)
