The Secrets of Llandeilo Hill

On Saturday the 28th April Chris Franks led a very enjoyable and interesting walk over Llandeilo Hill.  The weather was fine, not overly warm but no rain until the very end just as we were finishing.  The walk was supported by 10 people.  Chris was very knowledgeable about the area and pointed out things that otherwise we would have walked passed and missed.  The highlight was the "Howitzer" on Garth Common overlooking Erwood.  During the day we were very fortunate to have Tudor with us as a sheep needed rescuing and it was expertly done by Tudor.  Many thanks once again to Chris, it was his first walk leading for the Mid-Wales Group and we look forward to his next one.
