A good turnout in changeable weather. There were no retirements for the third year in succession and a 12-year old completed what is considered to be a demanding 30-miler. Two trends, consistent over the last twelve years, continue: we had the most female participants ever and we had the fewest LDWA members ever.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
