Two Hams and some busted hangovers - this week with London LDWA
London LDWA
A few of our committee members left town yesterday to take part in Essex & Herts LDWA's traditional curtain-opener to the New Year, the Stansted Stagger. A good time was had by all, including your Newsletter Editor, who nevetheless would like to add the following tip: It's never a good idea to embark on a 25+ mile off-road walk in new trainers. The only people who will benefit are the manufacturers and purveyors of blister plasters.
So, on to this coming Saturday, when Jerome will be leading a circular based on Amersham. There is the option of a pub lunch or picnic. Be prepared for a certain amount on mud in places. Scroll down for all the details. Meanwhile, some photos recording how other London Group members have started the year as they mean to go on.
