Hi everyone!  We’re just over three weeks away from our AGM and I attach the formal notice.  It is important that we have a reasonably accurate idea of who is going to attend in person.  If you want to do this please email me as soon as possible on  london@ldwa.org.uk

If numbers are too low we might have to cancel the room we have reserved and transfer the meeting entirely to Zoom.

The address is the University Women’s Club, 2 Audley Square, London W1K 1DB.  We will be in the library.  It is close to both Green Park and Hyde Park Corner tube stations.

Similarly, if you want to attend over the Zoom connection, please write to me at the above address so that I can send you a link on the morning of the 16th February.

Notice of LDWA London Group Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2022

The 2022 AGM will be on Wednesday 16th February 2022 at The University Women’s Club, 2 Audley Square, London W1K 1DB. The room will be available for us from 18:00 for a prompt start at 18:30.

A draft agenda will be circulated to all members on no later than Tuesday, 25th January, 2022. 

Nominations for committee posts need to be with the secretary by Wednesday, 1st February, 2022. Nominations can be made for any committee post (Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Webmaster, Walks Secretary, Newsletter Editor and Social Secretary) but we would particularly welcome nominations for the Webmaster, Chairperson, Walks Secretary and Social Secretary as the current holders of these posts will not be able to seek re-election at the meeting. Indeed, the post of Social Secretary is entirely vacant. Nominations need to have a proposer and seconder.

Nominations for the co-opted positions of Capital Challenge Organiser, Founders’ Challenge Organiser, and Liaison Officer with other walking organisations would also be valued.
