2022 Christmas Walk

Sunday 4th December saw 7 group members set off from Burton Waters for a 12 mile walk along the towpath of the Fossdyke canal and surrounding fields and back lanes, arriving back in Burton Waters for Christmas lunch at the Woodcocks Inn. Although only a relatively small number of the group attended those that did, had a very enjoyable walk, and equally enjoyable lunch.

Thanks to Lorna for arranging the walk, organising the meal and taking the photos.

We are now looking forward to walks in 2023 and welcome any new or existing members to join us on future group walks.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
