Route

Meet beside Portinscale Bridge just west of Keswick. (Drive west on B5289 through town, then on west side turn down the old disused road where you can park – or 15 minutes stroll across from town centre)

Walk follows the river Derwent to Dodd Wood, then passes Mirehouse to St Beda’s Church and up over Ullock Pike and Carl Side before heading back via Applethwaite
