This will be a joint walk between East Lancs, West Lancs, and Merseystride

General Notes
Highlights:- The Sir Alfred Lewis monument, a ship owner and founder of the Liverpool School of Medicine. Known throughout the world and a welcome sight to sailors, the iconic Three Graces, Royal Liver Building, Cunard Building and Port of Liverpool Building. The hustle and bustle of the Royal Albert Dock with its boutique shops pubs and cafes. It is also home of the Tate Gallery, The Beatles Story, Merseyside Maritime Museum, the International Slave trade Museum and the end or beginning of the Leeds Liverpool Canal. The M&S Bank Arena and Exhibition Centre. Views across the River Mersey of Birkenhead and the Cammell Laird ship yard. Dockers Steps, built to allow Dockers access to Herculaneum Dock, a terminus for the North Atlantic Convoys of WWII. Elswick Street where the iconic 80ís sitcom ĎBreadí was filmed. Liverpool Festival Gardens, a former household tip transformed in the UKís first ever festival gardens in 1984. Festival Japanese and Chinese Gardens is all that remains. The famous Lark Lane, a vibrant area full of eateries. Probably the best know park in Liverpool, Sefton Park covers 200 acres and boast a lake and a Victorian Palm House restored to its previous glory after years of decay following the blitz of WWII The grade II Princess Park with itís fishing lake and the gravestone of a donkey called Judy who gave rides to children for 21 years. The Childhood home of Ringo Star and the murals St James Mount and Gardens, once a quarry before becoming a cemetery and sits below the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, the fifth largest cathedral in the world which took 74 years to complete. . The largest outdoor shopping centre, Liverpool One, opened itís doors in 2008 at a cost of £920 million.
