A party from East Lancs will be stopping in the area for three days of walking, but everyone is very welcome to join us on any or all of our daily walks, whether travelling up for the day or staying locally. Orrest Head and Kentmere

Start at Staveley Village Hall, Main St, Staveley, Kendal, LA8 9NS. Try street parking on Back Lane (just before the turning into the Hawkshead Brewery) or Station Road going towards the Train station

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
