Dear All,

Following the announcement earlier today that those parts of Dorset covered by Dorset Council will be placed in Tier 3, and those covered by BCP Council will be placed in Tier 4 restrictions at midnight, we must sadly cease social walks county-wide.

If the LDWA National Executive Committee decide that walks can resume within the regulations we may be able to review this, but for the moment, please assume that Dorset LDWA walks are cancelled until further notice.

If you have offered to lead a walk, please don't despair. There will be plenty of keen walkers when we are allowed to resume, so hopefully you will feel able to rearrange at a later date when social walks are again allowed.

If you are currently booked on a walk which has had to be cancelled, your walk leader will offer you priority booking when the walk is rescheduled. Meanwhile try to stay fit and healthy with local walks and we hope to see you all again soon.
