Volunteers please - Doddle 2022 - Sunday 21 August
After missing out for the past two years due to you know what, the group is at last able to organise the Doddle again this year, on Sunday 21 August. Entries are already coming in, and some people have already come forward to offer to help on the day, but more help is needed. Are you able to help?

Any member helping is encouraged to claim 20p per mile for using their vehicle from home for the day to undertake their role.
We are looking for:
- Sweepers from the start in Weymouth to Kimmeridge
- Sweepers from Kimmeridge to the end in Swanage
- Help loading entrants onto the coaches in Swanage, under an experienced person in charge
- Help at the start on Weymouth seafront. Early start, but would suit someone who lives that way
- Help at checkpoints, under an experienced person in charge
- Help at the end in Swanage, especially clearing tables of used plates, mugs and cutlery, as part of a friendly team that work well together

The Doddle Catering Team
In addition to the volunteer roles Robert has listed above I am looking to put together to a catering team to work in the kitchen at All saints Church Hall, Swanage, cooking and serving food to those finishing (or retiring from) the event. We will be keeping things quite simple and aim to serve a vegan, gluten free meal to all. The hall is available to us from approximately 12.00noon until 10.00pm but you don't have to stay all day!
Please let me know if you would like to come and join us, for all or part of the day - we usually manage to have some fun!
