Dear Walkers,

 

Dorset LDWA 50:50:50 challenge/Cheselbourne Giant

Please note the earlier start of 8.30am for the “Cheselbourne Giant” walk this Sunday 8 May.

The walk this Sunday is the first that will count towards the target for 50 of our members to walk 50 miles on Dorset social walks in 50 days (the challenge ends on Sun 26th June). This is to celebrate 50 years of the LDWA nationally.

There is no need to book the walks, but if you would like to pledge to complete the challenge please send an Email to Anne on brownbootswalking@btconnect.com

There are lots of walks on the programme, and if you leave it to the last minute, there is an option to complete all 50 miles over the last weekend!

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
