Route
A shorter version of the first Exford walk - this will still be a strenuous, hilly, circular route visiting Dunkery Beacon. Mostly on bridleways and footpaths. A walking pace of about 2.5 mph is anticipated. Bring facemask, sanitiser and waterproofs. The walk will be limited to a total of 8 walkers and places must be booked in advance. To book one of the available places please either text or WhatsApp message Tim on 07927 156925 - this is to ensure places are fairly allocated on a first come, first served basis dependant upon the time the message is received. Please do not call. Tim will confirm if you have been able to secure a place and provide the start point location including grid reference.

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
