COTSWOLD CHALLENGE

COTSWOLD CHALLENGE (ANYTIME IN SEPTEMBER) 2022

The 2022 Cotswold Challenge is an Anytime in September event.  There will be no support, no food, no drinks, no checkpoints.
The advantage is you can do it anytime during September.  Which means you can choose a dry and sunny day to do the walk.
A choice of circular routes from Birdlip Village Hall (grid reference SO 928 125).  There are two distances, 26.4 miles and 18 miles.  Both walks follow the same route through to Bisley.

There will be a number of questions to answer on route.  Entrants who email the correct answers will receive a certificate.  Please remember to add your time.

A repeat of the 'hilly route' taking in Bisley, Slad Valley, Haresfield & Painswick Beacons and Cooper Hill.
Routes are covered by 1:25 Explorer 179 or 1:50 Landranger 162 and 163 maps.

Entrants should wear suitable clothing & footwear, the route can be muddy.  They should also carry a compass, snacks/drink, simple first aid, and money.

Entrants must comply to any local or national COVID rules.  Entrants must read the Disclaimer under Challenge Events.
