Route
Location; The 2022 Cotswold Challenge is an anytime in September event. There will be no support, no food, no drinks, no checkpoints. The advantage is that you can do it t anytime during September, which means a dry and sunny day may be selected to do the walk. There are a choice of circular routes from Birdlip Village Hall (grid reference SO 928 125) and two distances: 26.4 miles and 18 miles. Both walks follow the same route through to Bisley
A repeat of the 'hilly route' taking in Bisley, Slad Valley, Haresfield & Painswick Beacon and Cooper Hill. Routes are covered by 1:25 Explorer 179 or 1:50 Landranger 162 and 163 maps. Please Note: There are revised route descriptions available on the the Bristol and West LDWA Group home page
General Notes
There will be a number of questions to answer on route. Entrants who email the correct answers will receive a certificate. Please remember to add your time
