Northampton Round Part 2 - Cogenhoe to Piddington

Blimey, what a hot one on part 2 of the Northampton Round. We left Piddington at 0930 heading for Cogenoe for T break. We went through Hackleton after 5 mins and, what a surprise, we followed the same route all the way to the Northampton race way that my walk "Tea Bags at the Ready" followed. Then from Cogenhoe mill for another couple of miles again. We stopped at Cogenhoe church for our morning T break then Yardley Hastings for lunch where most went for a beer in the local pub. With only about 5 miles to go from Yardley Hastings, most of the route took us on road and hard track back to Piddington.
It was a very enjoyable day but very hot, with plenty of good views. I think our intrepid chairman Teresa, or should i say chairwoman, was expecting rain, or was the umbrella a sun screen.
A great day. Well done DFH for leading us on the 2nd part of the Northampton Round. We were finished by 1530. Here's to part 3.
