What no stiles", Well there were not, but weather was wet, snow and windy in places. I was the first at the car park, i was there for 08.45, then Chris arrived, at 09.25 we were ready to go so Chris said "Come on, let's get going", We had the first group photo which was me taking a photo of Chris, then Chris took a photo of me as there was only the two of us, Then we got going at 09.25, we didn't get 50 mts and Peter turned up, so we waited for Peter to get ready which was only about 5mins.
So a second group shot, then we were off along the tow path, wet, snowing and raining all day, it was a great day but cold, a quick tea break at 11.00, on to the church at Flore for a quick lunch, then on to the Grand Union canal for the 6 miles back to the car park. Peter was having a bit of trouble with his back at the end of the day but we arrived back cold and wet through. I went back home, showered, a change of cloths then a "B" line for the Red Well at Wellingborough for my Thursday curry club. Back home and early to bed. Great day Chris,
