Despite a howling wind and forecasts of a wet afternoon, nineteen BBN members showed up at Toddington on Thursday, 7 March, for a fifteen-mile walk.  The route followed the Chalgrave Heritage Walk in a clockwise direction to Tebworth via Wingfield, and then continued to lunch at the duck pond in Milton Bryan.  The rain began immediately after lunch as we marched off into the westerly wind to Hockliffe church via Battlesden.  We then turned back to Tebworth with the wind at last behind us and continued on to Toddington by way of Chalgrave Road and local footpaths.
