Nearly everyone togged up in full weather gear but were overdressed. A few smart folk read a later forecast and were far more suitably
dressed. Matthew was in shorts! There were lots of stops for people to remove layers, and that was before we got to Newport Pagnell. The
sun came out and, apart from a very strong chilly wind, and one swift rain shower, the weather was glorious. 19 at the start, plus Matthew
at Station Terrace and minus two after lunch.
