Notice of Annual General Meeting

The AGM of the Beds Bucks & Northants Group of the LDWA will be held at 2.30 pm on Sunday 26th November 2023 at Great Doddington Memorial Hall, High St, Great Doddington, Wellingborough NN29 7TQ.

The Agenda, Officers’ Reports and Annual Accounts will be available to view on the BBN website before the AGM.

Nominations for Officers and Ordinary Committee Members, who must be members of the Group, shall be received by the Secretary no later than Sunday 29th October. 
A nomination shall include the names of the proposer and seconder and the nominee’s agreement to stand. If there are any posts for which nominations have not been received, nominations may be taken at the Annual General Meeting.

Any  proposal to amend the constitution shall be submitted to the Committee no later than Sunday 29th October and any substantive motion shall be submitted by Sunday 12th November.
Both shall include the names of the proposer and seconder who shall be members of the Group.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
