12 Dec - 30 Sep - That's Lyth Anytime Challenge (North West England)
21 miles/33.7km A twist on our usual event with new footpaths and very different views, visiting Scout Scar, Levens, Whitbarrow Scar, Crossthwaite, Underbarrow and Cunswick Scar. Entrants can participate at any time of their choosing until 30th September.

23 Jan - 30 Jun - Five Valleys Challenge Marathon (South West England)
The 5 Valleys Challenge anytime route, 26.2 miles, 1230m ascent - receive a T-shirt, a brew and a bap, PLUS get your time and face on our wall of fame! All whilst raising funds for Gloucestershire breastfeeding support.

29 Mar - 30 Jun - Daffodil Dawdle Anytime Challenge (East of England)
A scenic route starting from Eye and involving sections of the Angles Way, taking in the historic churches of Hoxne, Weybread, Stradbroke and Eye.

29 Mar - 31 Dec - Spring in Lakeland 50 Anytime Challenge (North West England)
A NEW Anytime Challenge - Spring in Lakeland 50 offers you mileage options of 16, 18, 32, 34, or 50 miles using three lovely loops between Kendal and Windermere to create a walk to suit. Walking all three loops will qualify you for the LDWA 2022 Hundred.

29 Mar - 1 Jul - The Hardmoors VIRTUAL 55 (Yorkshire & Humber)
The Hardmoors 55 is unfortunately not able to go ahead in March 2021 due to COVID, so we are offering you the opportunity to run it virtually.

29 Mar - 4 Jul - The Stagger Anytime Challenge (East of England)
A distance of 25.7 miles starting from the War Memorial on Chapel Hill Stansted Mountfichet, this is a challenging scenic route with 1900 ft of ascent, on bridleways and footpaths in and above the valleys of the Stort, Ash, and Rib.

4 Apr - 30 May - Odyssey Virtual Easter Marathon (Yorkshire & Humber)
The Odyssey Virtual Marathon is 26.2 miles of fun to bring in Easter, do the miles at your pace, in your space. Run or walk it in 1 go or as many as you need. Once you have 26.2 miles bagged, we will then send out your hard earned “Easter” medal.

12 Apr - 30 Jun - The Cerne Giant Anytime Challenge (South West England)
This unsupported, anytime challenge event offers the choice of a 30 or a 20 mile route. Starting from the village of Cerne Abbas, site of the famous Cerne Giant, the routes will take in some of the best downland and river valleys of Dorset.

12 Apr - 28 Jun - The Oxon 40/20 2021 Anytime Challenge (South East England)
An Anytime Challenge event which entrants can complete at a time of their choosing between 12th April and 28th June 2021. A choice of routes, 20, 32 and 40 miles in an AONB of the Chilterns. Start & finish at Stokenchurch, just off the M40/J5.

15 Apr - 31 May - Pewsey Downsaround 'Anytime' (South West England)
This is an anytime challenge event of our most popular 26.7 mile version of the Pewsey Downsaround, covering the Vale of Pewsey and Marlborough Downs. The route visits many sites of archaeological interest, including Avebury Stone Circle.

17 Apr - 14 Aug - South Pennine 24 Anytime Challenge (North West England)
The 24 mile route is a fantastic foray into the Dark Peak and the South Pennine Moors. A variety of terrain will be encountered from wild moorland to well graded footpaths and bridleways. Hopefully you will enjoy the stunning views the area has to offer

23 Apr - 23 Jul - Ulfkil Stride Anytime Challenge 2021 (Yorkshire & Humber)
24 miles/38.62km. LDWA members only. The Ulfkil Stride was for many years the West Yorkshire Group's premier challenge event over the fells of upper Wharfedale. Entrants can participate at any time of their choosing between 23rd April 21 and 23rd July 21

1 May - 1 Aug - Wessex XXX AnyTime Challenge (South East England)
An original Wessex LDWA challenge event starting and finishing in Winchester taking in the South Downs National Park, and following some of the South Downs Way and Monarchs Way long-distance paths.

1 Jun - 31 Jul - Cotswold Ring Anytime in June and July (South West England)
An Anytime Challenge in June and July to be completed in 24 hours.
