For folk planning to walk on Thursday, please note the previous postcode shown on the website was incorrect. The correct postcode for the Church Street car park is NN9 5SG,
An update from the leader: Unfortunately, there will not be a pub stop on the walk. Having done a recce, it's both too far into the route and also off route, adding more distance. It is now intended that the lunchtime stop will be at Woodford Mill, where there is a tea room / restaurant. This does sell alcohol (bottled ?), such as Saxby`s Cider and Phipps IPA. The car park at the start is in front of the church in Irthlingborough. There are 3 separate parking areas, so plenty of space. Hopefully the weather will be kind to us and the colours will still be around.

The car park is in the centre of Irthlingborough, opposite The Cross roundabout. There is plenty of free parking. There are public toilets next to the car park. Lunch is planned to be at a pub which doubles as a cafe. Due to the potential for inclement weather, there are a couple of options to shorten the route, if it is deemed necessary
