Accommodation Info
Woodlands Outdoor Centre is a large Victorian property specially adapted to provide self-catering accommodation for groups of up to 30. It has seven dormitories varying in size from one to ten beds, complete with duvets and linen. The centre is centrally heated and has a common room, games room, large self-catering kitchen, drying room, hot showers and bike sheds.

Nestling in the heart of the mountains and set on the banks of the river Llugwy, Betws-y-Coed has shops for essentials, tourist shops and hotels who cater for non-residents. The area is popular for trekking, canoeing, mountain biking, orienteering and rock climbing and is also convenient for travelling to the coast (20 miles away). The centre welcomes adults and youths as individuals or groups. It is run by a registered charity 'The Barn Outdoor Pursuits Association' whose aim is to encourage young people to share and enjoy the outdoors.
